*Dear Applicator:

We understand that you are interested in becoming a Qualified Applicator of Carboline Fireproofing Products.

In order to become qualified, it is necessary to attend one of our training schools. Please be advised that class size is limited to 25 attendees, therefore, your early response is required. Attendance at the school is confirmed upon the approval of our Fireproofing Director. We will contact you within one week of your submission to confirm approval of your application.

The program is two days in duration and includes the following topics:

Day 1, September 27, 2016

1. COMMERCIAL INTUMESCENT FIREPROOFING PRODUCTS
a. Intro to fire tests, UL designs, W/D & UL Directory
b. Product classroom training
c. Specification and estimating review
d. Application demonstrations - AD Firefilm III, THERMO-SORB VOC, THERMO-LAG E100

Day 2, September 28, 2016

1. COMMERCIAL CEMENTITIOUS FIREPROOFING PRODUCTS
a. Intro to fire tests, UL designs, W/D
b. Product classroom training
c. Specification and estimating review
d. Application demonstrations – Southwest Type 5GP

A fee of $300.00 per attendee is charged for the school. The attendee is responsible for airfare and accommodation costs. A block of rooms have been reserved at a local hotel. Once approved, we will send you the information make the hotel reservations. The rate for the hotel is $129.00 per night.

The fee for the school includes breakfast at hotel and lunch both days, a hospitality reception Monday evening, dinner Tuesday evening and transportation to/from the hotel/training facility.

Note: If you are interested in attending 1 day only, a fee of $150.00 is charged for the school.

If you do not reside in St. Louis, we would suggest that you arrive on Monday, September 26 before 5:00pm to join us at the hotel for a reception. (For travel purposes, the school ends at 3pm on September 28)

Certificates of Qualification will be issued to all attendees after the training school is completed.

As a condition of Carboline Qualified Applicator status you must agree to the following:

We agree to accept full responsibility for maintaining the required standard of application workmanship in accordance with applicable job specifications and manufacturer’s recommendations. Any and all work will be performed by or under the direct supervision of the Applicator Representative who has successfully completed the Carboline Fireproofing Training Program.
